Dispatch: Five cited for MIP alcohol; officers respond to hit and run and crashes

(Sheridan, Wyo.) — Here is the Wednesday, Dec. 23, recap of law enforcement activity in the Sheridan area. All persons arrested or cited are presumed innocent until convicted in a court of law. *Sheridan Police Department* *Arrests* Emily Berry, 22, Laramie, was arrested for DWUI at 12:46 a.m., no location given. Hadd McHenry, 40, Sheridan, was arrested for a Municipal warrant at 11:20 a.m. on W. 13th Street. Jacob Sears 31, Sheridan, arrested for municipal court, circuit court, and Sweetwater county warrants at 4:44 p.m. on Sixth Street. Kaleb Bakken, 18, Sheridan was arrested for possession of a controlled substance marijuana following a complaint of a party. Five others were cited for MIP alcohol and a female juvenile was arrested for Interference and transported to the group home. *Calls * Officers took report from mother of juvenile son having taken her vehicle at 1:55 a.m. on S. Sheridan Avenue. Mother did not want to sign son as runaway or stolen vehicle. Officers conducted a welfare check at 2:02 a.m. on W. Fifth Street. Officers took report of a delayed hit and run at 9:04 a.m. in the Sheridan area. Report was generated for insurance purposes. Officers responded to an accident in a parking lot at 9:21 a.m. on N. Main Street. Drivers of both vehicles exchanged information and settled the crash prior to Officer arrival. Officers conducted a welfare check at 9:42 a.m. on Avoca Court. Individual was fine. Officers responded to a counterfeiting report at 2:59 p.m. on Coffeen Avenue. Officers responded to reports of malicious mischief in neighborhood at 3:12 p.m. on S. Thurmond Aven. Case currently under investigation. Officers responded to a careless driver at 3:19 p.m., no location given. Officers responded to reported lost property at 3:39 p.m. on S. Main Street. A male subject was cited for possession of controlled substance in plant form at 3:47 p.m. on Long Drive. Report of a domestic dispute resulted in one adult male being arrested for Unlawful Contact after argument with his fiance at 6:30 p.m. in the Sheridan area. Officers responded to an accident at 11:08 p.m. on N. Main Street. Officers also responded to four dog at large/animal incidents, one suspicious vehicle, on parking complaint, one motorist assist and one records only call. *Sheridan County Sheriff's Office* Officers conducted warrant service at 10:22 a.m. on Beatty Gulch Road on Sheridan.
