#MemoryMonday: 'New' 1903 Courthouse

(Sheridan, Wyo.) — It is the first Monday of the New Year, and many of the local governing bodies are gearing up for 2016. Today's Memory Monday photo hearkens back to the "new" Sheridan County Courthouse built in 1905. It looks pretty lonely without its trees. This photo is from the Holstedt Collection at the Sheridan County Museum. Today, the Sheridan County Courthouse is on the National Register of Historic Places. If you look closely, there are two figures approaching the Courthouse. What do you think they were doing in 1903? *Feature photo and above Holstedt Collection, Sheridan County Museum /
