(Sheridan, Wyo.) — While it has been a relatively moderate week for January in Sheridan, the rest of the state has seen some frigid temperatures. At Independence Rock in Natrona County, the National Weather Service of Riverton clocked a chilling -23 below temperature at 8:15 a.m. on Jan. 10. It was -21 degrees in LaBarge in Lincoln County at 7 a.m. on Jan. 11, and -21 in Riverton at 5 a.m. on Jan. 11. Closer to Sheridan, in Johnson County, temperatures dipped to a comparatively balmy -6 degrees in Kaycee at 7 a.m. on Jan. 11. See all the lows here.
The forecast for the rest of the week in Sheridan is for lows in the teens,
but highs in the 40s, with a chance for snow later this week.
