Dispatch: Marijuana users found with deceased bird of prey; Multiple wrecks and citations reported

(Sheridan, Wyo.) — Here is the Wednesday, Jan. 20, recap of law enforcement activity in the Sheridan area. All persons arrested or cited are presumed innocent until convicted in a court of law. *Sheridan Police Department* *Arrests:* *Michele Mahr-Watson*, 60, Sheridan, Municipal Court Warrant. *Jeremy Gardner*, 41, Sheridan, Breach of Peace. *Calls:* At 8:41 a.m., police were called to Coffeen Ave. to assist someone whose child got locked in a vehicle. The vehicle ultimately opened up, and the child was healthy. A report of drug activity that came on Wednesday morning is under investigation. Additional information was not released. A hit and run wreck that occurred on North Main Street about a month ago was reported yesterday. There are no suspects at this time. A driver was cited for driving too close following an 11:30 a.m. two vehicle crash on Main Street. Another wreck about 45 minutes later on Coffeen resulted in one driver getting cited for careless driving. At 3:07 p.m., police were called about potential fraud happening at a local business. Investigation found no fraud. At 7:28 p.m., a caller on Larch Lane reported an unknown subject knocking on their door. Officer found no one in the area. Two individuals were cited for Use and Under Influence of Marijuana following a report about drug activity on South Main Street. They were also found to be illegally in possession of a deceased bird of prey. The bird will be turned over to Game & Fish, Sheridan PD reports. *Sheridan County Sheriff's Office* Deputies handled 10 calls for service on Wednesday. The calls included a report of a minor in possession, loose livestock, phone harassment and domestic violence. #dally #news
