(Sheridan, Wyo.) — Here is the Thursday, Jan. 21, recap of law enforcement activity in the Sheridan area. All persons arrested or cited are presumed innocent until convicted in a court of law. *Sheridan Police Department* *Arrests* Kent Meredyk, 21, Jackson, was arrested for DWUI- alcohol at 3:17 a.m. on Whittier Street. Joshua Meyers, 28, Sheridan, was arrested for Probation and Parole arrest and hold order at 10:37 a.m. on Big Horn Avenue. *Calls* A driver was cited for speed greater then reasonable after sliding off the road and hitting a fence at 2:55 a.m. on W. Fifth Street. Officers took complaint of a traffic accident involving vehicle damage at 7:54 a.m. on Mydland Road. One driver was cited for speed greater than reasonable. Request to remove subject from property for causing disturbances at 9:34 a.m. on N. Main Street. Subject was trespassed and departed peacefully. Officer and Department of Family Services investigated the report of suspected child abuse AT 10:53 a.m. on Big Horn Avenue. Complaint determined to be unfounded. Officers responded to a request for officer assistance in removal of a female individual at 11:12 p.m. on Big Horn Avenue. Female was issued a trespass warning and she left the premises. Two juveniles cited for use and possession of marijuana and tobacco at 12:12 p.m. on Holly Ponds Drive. Officers received complaint of a hit and run accident at 12:17 p.m. on E. Loucks Street. After talking with a witness the suspect driver was located and cited for hit and run. Officers responded to a stalking report at 12:33 p.m. on N. Main Street. Officers took complaint of a parked-unattended Dodge truck having sustained damage after being struck by another vehicle at 1:26 p.m. on Coffeen Avenue. Officers took complaint of a vehicle passing a school bus when the bus was stopped with stop signs deployed at 1:55 p.m. on Carlin Street. Spoke with owner of suspect vehicle who admitted to passing the bus. Citation issued for passing school bus. A traffic stop resulted in one adult male being cited for driving with a suspended license at 2:08 p.m. on N. Main Street. Officers took report of a complaint of a business receiving a threatening phone call from the boyfriend of an ex-employee at 5:02 p.m. on E. Alger. Officers responded to the report of a suspicious vehicle at 9:25 p.m. on N. Main Street. Officers responded to the report of a suspicious vehicle at 9:47 p.m. on DeSmet Avenue. A male juvenile was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia following a contact with police at 9:52 p.m. Remington Court. Officers also responded to one request for assistance, six animal incidents, one report of found property and one medical call. *Sheridan County Sheriff's Office* Officers conducted a welfare check at 7:40 a.m. on Hwy 14 in Dayton.
