Chamber of Commerce's annual Legislative Forum begins tomorrow

(Sheridan, Wyo.) — The Sheridan County Chamber of Commerce's annual two-day Legislative Forum is this week. The event, which is hosted by the Chamber's Government Affairs Committee and is open to the public, is from 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m. on Tuesday and Wednesday at the Sheridan City Hall Third Floor Council Chambers. Over 30 Sheridan County organizations and individuals will have the opportunity to share updates and issues with Sheridan County's representatives to the Wyoming State Legislature, which convenes for 2016 session on Feb. 8. Local state legislators expected to be participating include: - Rep. Rosie Berger, House District 51 - Rep. Mark Jennings, House District 30 - Rep. Mike Madden, House District 40 - Rep. Mark Kinner, House District 29 - Sen. Bruce Burns, Senate District 21 - Sen. Dave Kinskey, Senate District 22 The two days of the Legislative Forum are packed with 15- and 30-minute presentations on a wide array of issues, according to the Chamber.
