Wyoming's proposed mountain lion trapping bill makes National Geographic Instagram

(Wyoming) — The State of Wyoming will be discussing legislation in the upcoming session that would authorize Wyoming to become the third state in the U.S. to allow trapping of mountain lions. House Bill 12 is sponsored by Rep. Jim Allen of House District 33, Rep. Hans Hunt of House District 2 and Sen. Eli Bebout of District 26 and Sen. Larry Hicks of the 11th District. The bill — and this striking photo — made its way onto the National Geographic's Instagram today. The bill would allow any person holding a valid mountain lion license to take a mountain lion by use of a trap or snare, and would be effective July 1, 2016, if passed. #dally #news
