CiViC Leadership Project taking applications

(Sheridan, Wyo.) — The Center for A Vital Community is currently taking applications for the 2016 Leadership Project. The Center for A Vital Community's CiViC Leadership Project is the organization's flagship program for emerging and existing leaders in Sheridan County. It has included over 100 graduates to date, who emerged with the skills and knowledge to identify and mobilize community issues and to create real, specific changes. A commitment to the CiViC Project involves a five-day residential retreat (this year on May 23-27, at Eatons' Ranch) and two later full-day retreats over a 6-month period. There is no cost for participants. Applications to be considered for the 2016 Project are due by Tues., March 1.
