(Sheridan, Wyo.) — Here is the Wednesday, Jan. 27, recap of law enforcement activity in the Sheridan area. All persons arrested or cited are presumed innocent until convicted in a court of law. *Sheridan Police Department* *Arrests* David Morgan, 64, Sheridan, was arrested at 4 p.m. on W. 11th Street for DWUI following a traffic stop for no brake lights. Kyle Thornock, 41, Sheridan, was arrested at 10:30 p.m. on W. Fifth Street for trespassing following a incident at the hospital. *Calls* Police officers assisted Sheridan Fire with the report of a structure fire at 1:29 a.m. on N. Jefferson Street. Officers responded to report of drug paraphernalia found at a local residence at 7:20 a.m. on S. Carrington Street. A traffic stop at 9:59 a.m. on N. Main Street resulted in one driver being cited for driving while suspended. Officers took report of a hit and run at 3:41 p.m. on N. Main Street. A witness was able to get a license plate and vehicle disruption. Currently looking for suspect. A 40-year-old male from Sheridan was stuck by a passing vehicle in the 1400 block of North Main Street at 6:54 p.m. Victim was transported to ER. Case is being investigated as a hit and run. Officer conducted a traffic stop that resulted in one female being cited for driving while licenses suspended at 10:31 p.m. on E. 11th Street. Officers responded to 35 calls Wednesday. *Sheridan County Sheriff's Office* Officers responded to an animal welfare call at 12:32 p.m. on W. 17th Street in Sheridan.
