Dispatch: Two arrests for possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver; Three cited in shoplifting incident

(Sheridan, Wyo.) — Here is the Thursday, Jan. 28, recap of law enforcement activity in the Sheridan area. All persons arrested or cited are presumed innocent until convicted in a court of law. *Sheridan Police Department * *Arrests* Ojaylan Jackson, 41, Sheridan, was arrested on a warrant and cited for driving under suspension at 2:19 p.m. on N. Main Street. Chase Walton, 21, and Bobbi Creech, 19, both from Sheridan, were arrested for possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver (W.S. 35-7-1031 (a)(ii) at 4:46 p.m. on Huntington Street. A male, 40, Sheridan, was arrested for domestic battery and trespassing in the Sheridan area at 10:03 p.m. *Calls* Investigation into a complaint at 12:14 a.m. on Sheridan Avenue of a suspicious person resulted in a male juvenile, age 14, being cited for curfew violation and disorderly conduct – obstruct. Vehicle stopped for no registration at 9:27 a.m. on Broadway Street. Male driver cited for driving under suspension. Traffic stop resulted in the male driver being cited for driving under suspension at 10:28 a.m. on College Avenue. A vehicle struck another while parking along the street at 11:06 a.m. on Thurmond Street. Driver cited for careless/imprudent driving and no insurance. Officers responded to complaint of a loose Boxer trying to attack another dog in its yard at 11:32 a.m. on Emerson Street. Attempting to contact Boxers owner. Officers responded to a complaint of trespassing at 2:04 p.m. on Coffeen Avenue. The complainant was contacted and an attempt to contact the offender will be made. Officer responded to a complaint of a verbal domestic at 2:45 p.m. on Brundage Street. The involved parties were contacted and a citation for breach of peace was issued regarding the incident. A female, 29, Sheridan, was cited for shoplifting. Two trespass warnings were issued to the female and male companion at 3:12 p.m. on Coffeen Avenue. Officer observed a vehicle driving carelessly in parking lot at 3:50 p.m. on Victoria Street. One juvenile driver cited for careless driving. Officers responded to a possible child abuse case at 4:11 p.m. on Coffeen Avenue. Officers responded to an accident at 5:30 p.m. on Coffeen Avenue when a parked Chevrolet passenger car having received damage after being struck by a Chevrolet truck. Driver of the truck left without notifying the owner of the passenger vehicle. Registration of the truck and driver description was provided to Law Enforcement. Officers responded to 29 reports Thursday.
