City-initiated annexations, liquor license change on council agenda

(Sheridan, Wyo.) — The City of Sheridan's City Council will meet at 7 p.m. tonight in City Hall. The Council will discuss several city-initiated annexations, including Ordinance 2162, an ordinance to annex approximately 19,436 sq. ft. at 3470 Big Horn Avenue Loop. Ordinance 2162 was tabled at the last meeting. According to the City, the property was included along with other three sets of privately owned property considered for City-initiated annexation. At a Jan. 11, 2016, Planning Commission meeting, the property owner, Ms. Tabitha Schultz, expressed her opposition to being annexed. On consent agenda, the council will vote on applying for a $250,000 Federal Mineral Royalty Capital Construction Account Grant to the State Loan and Investment Board for the West Loucks Street Neighborhood Project . The Council will also hold a public hearing followed by a vote on the transfer of Restaurant Liquor License #12 Robert V Murdoch III and Severine CJ Murdoch/Cowboy Cafe to Cowboy Cafe 2, LLC/Cowboy Cafe. The transfer does not reflect a different owner but only a change from individual ownership to an LLC. *Feature photo / Pitchengine Communities* #dally #news
