Breaking: Counterfeit $100 bills being passed around Sheridan

(Sheridan, Wyo.) — The Sheridan Police is alerting the public that high-quality counterfeit $100 bills are being passed in the Sheridan area. One was detected yesterday afternoon and another this morning, according to the Sheridan County Chamber of Commerce. The SPD advises business owners to take precautions with any and all $100 bills. Use a counterfeit detection pen if you have one, and particularly look for $100 bills with either of the following serial numbers: DE20883683A DL3248697A (2003 Series) If you get one of these bills, call the Sheridan Police Department at 672-2413 while the person is still with you, if you can. It would also help if you can get a physical description, vehicle description, etc. "Do not put yourself in any harm. You always have the option of just declining any suspicious-looking bill." #dally #news
