Part Three of Signature Lecture series at The Brinton on Thursday

(Sheridan, Wyo.) — The Brinton Museum and Sheridan College will co-host the third in a four-part educational signature lecture series presented by historian Tyson Emborg, an American Government teacher at Sheridan High School with a passion for local history and family roots in the Little Goose Valley. Part three is titled “Bradford and Helen Brinton: Transformation of the Quarter Circle A Ranch,” and will take place at 7 p.m., on Thursday in the museum’s former reception gallery. The series focuses on the history of Sheridan County and life of Bradford Brinton, bringing to life a sense of place and a connection between time, people and history. Emborg also explores what this means to The Brinton Museum, its art and artifacts, and the people who support the institution. The final presentation, “The Legacy of The Brinton Museum: A Look at the Collection and the Unique Connections it has to Sheridan County,” is scheduled for April 7. The signature lecture series is free and open to the public. *Ranch house at The Brinton, Halloween 2015 / Pitchengine Communities* #dally #news #whatshappening
