K-12 student numbers go up statewide, SCSD#3 still smallest in the state

(Cheyenne, Wyo.) — The total number of students in the state of Wyoming has gone up, according to the Wyoming Department of Education. A total of 94,002 students were enrolled in Wyoming schools in the fall of the 2015-16 academic year. That is up from 93,303 in 2014-15. There are 941 total students in Sheridan County School District #1, including 91 kindergartners. There are 3,488 total students in Sheridan County School District #2, including 313 kindergartners. There are 90 total students in Sheridan County School District #3 — making it the smallest district in the state — including six kindergartners.
