(Sheridan, Wyo.) — In an effort to strengthen community partnerships and assist Wyoming veterans, the Sheridan VA Medical Center is offering free training via a webinar to the community. The "Making the Connection to Help Heal the Wounds of War" webinar is on Feb. 17 from 1-2:30 p.m. This webinar is available for free to both those within the VA system and the private-sector. The live webcast is part of the effort to fulfill the August 2014
Presidental Executive Action for DoD and VA to disseminate military
cultural competency training to 3,000 community providers as well as VA
It aims to provide a foundation to ensure that veterans and their family
members receive military culturally competent care through VA and their
community providers, including Veterans Choice providers.
