Dispatch: Man cited for battery after punching another on Main; Craig's List fraud; Minor school bus/passenger vehicle accident

(Sheridan, Wyo.) — Here is the Tuesday, Feb. 16, recap of law enforcement activity in the Sheridan area. All persons arrested or cited are presumed innocent until convicted in a court of law. *Sheridan Police Department* *Arrests* One male was arrested for domestic assault at 3:07 a.m. in the Sheridan area. Officers served a municipal warrant in the Sheridan County Detention Center to Rudolph Demontiney, 34, Sheridan. Scott Duwaldt, 47, Sheridan, was arrested for Intoxicated Pedestrian on a roadway, after being found laying in the road way and being highly intoxicated at 9L55 p.m. on N. Main Street. *Calls* Officers responded to an accident report at 8:17 a.m. on Hill Pond Drive. The accident was a minor two vehicle crash, school bus vs. passenger vehicle. Minor damage, no injuries. Bus hit back end of other vehicle. No citations. Officers responded to a harassment report at 9:13 a.m. on N. Main Street. Officers responded to a possible child abuse case at 12:12 p.m. on E. Woodland Park. Incident remains under investigation. Incident occurred in another jurisdiction. Officers responded to a reported sexual battery at 12:40 p.m. in the Sheridan area. Case under investigation. Officers responded to a two vehicle traffic crash at 1:29 p.m. on Coffeen Avenue. Vehicles merged into lane at same time. Minor damage, no citations. Officers took a report for harassment at 1:56 p.m. on Carlin Street. Resident stated their neighbor was shining a spot light in her home at 5:30 in the morning. Case is under investigation. Officers took report of fraud concerning buying a 4 wheeler off of Craig's List at 3:26 p.m. on Wyoming Avenue. Case under investigation. Officers took report of property being stolen out of a vehicle at 3:58 p.m. on First Avenue West. Case under investigation. A driver was cited for passing a school bus with lights flashing at 4:01 p.m. on N. Main Street. Officers responded to a hit and run accident that occurred sometime in the Sheridan area over the past two days at 7:41 p.m. on B Street. Suspect vehicle left a yellow paint transfer on the victim vehicle. Victim was unsure where this crash occurred. A male was cited at 8:12 p.m. on Thurmond Street for possession of a controlled substance in plant form (marijuana) following a traffic stop of a headlight being out. Officers responded to a report of an assault in the 1900 block of N Main at 8:52 p.m.. Victim reported a male subject punched the victim in the nose and left the area.
