(Sheridan, Wyo.) — Here is the Tuesday, Feb. 16, recap of law enforcement activity in the Sheridan area. All persons arrested or cited are presumed innocent until convicted in a court of law. *Sheridan Police Department* *Arrests* Kristaffer Walthall, 35, Sheridan, was arrested at 1:07 a.m. on N. Main Street for probation violation and possession of a controlled substance in plant form. *Calls* Officers responded to a report of a prowler at 1:49 a.m. on N. Main Street. Officers responded to a complaint of a school crossing guard nearly having been struck by a vehicle at 9:33 a.m. on S. Sheridan Avenue. Driver was cited for careless driving. Douglas Amend, 24, Sheridan, was arrested on a probation and parole arrest and hold order at 10:24 a.m. on Coffeen Avenue. Officers responded to a DUI-Reddi report at 10:29 a.m. on Coffeen Avenue. Officers responded to a dog bite reported at 12:08 p.m. on W. Fifth Street. Complaint was of a female having approached a neighbor who had been walking a dog on leash. Female reached to pet the dog and was bitten. Owner of dog has been identified and the dog was placed on home quarantine. Parents signed their 15 year old daughter as a runaway at 1:02 p.m. in the Sheridan area. Hazardous conditions were reported at 4:40 p.m. on Kentucky Avenue. Officers assisted an outside agency in arresting a female at 4:41 p.m. on Burrows Street. Officers responded to a complaint of a suspicious male in the street at 8:48 a.m. on N. Main Street.
