Sheridan Fire-Rescue controls Sunday garage fire within 10 minutes of arrival

(Sheridan, Wyo.) — At 10:13 am on Sunday, Sheridan Fire-Rescue responded to a structure fire at 1210 Spaulding Street. The garage was fully involved upon arrival on scene. Sheridan Fire-Rescue extinguished the fire and protected the exposure structures to the North and South of the garage. The fire was under control at approximately 10:23 am. The cause of the fire is still under investigation. Other agencies on scene included Sheridan Police Department, Goose Valley Volunteer Fire Department, Rocky Mountain Ambulance and Montana Dakota Utilities. Property owner Edi Nelson said the following on Facebook page Sheridan U News, which Dally shares with permission of Nelson: "Thankful Sheridan, Wyoming has paid professional union fire fighters. They were very quick in responding. Had a great dispatcher also. Couldn't have done it without the police either. Unfortunately my garage is a total loss, but another minute and my house and the neighbors house could have been damaged."
