Want wintry weather? NOAA says wait for next winter.

(Sheridan, Wyo.) — Though we have seen prolonged temperatures of 40, 50 and even 60 degrees in our area this winter, there is snow at the end of the tunnel. Or something like that. The outlook for December 2016-February 2017 from NOAA's Climate Prediction Center shows that below normal temperatures have the best chance of occurring, according to the National Weather Service of Billings Montana. So if you are looking for snow, "Just be patient ... very patient," NWS of Billings says.
