Little Bighorn Trout Unlimited jumps into new year after hiatus

(Sheridan, Wyo.) — After a nearly two-year hiatus, The Little Bighorn Chapter of Trout Unlimited is alive again. On Wednesday, the board elected new officers and a board of directors. Officers: President - Roger Miller Vice President - Nick Haderlie Secretaries - Amy Powell & Rob Powell Treasurer - Tony Lecholat Board of Directors: Bill Hanewald Tina Krueger Bob Krumm John Madia David Todd The chapter hopes to establish regular meetings, with the next chapter scheduled for Tuesday, March 22, 2016 at 6 p.m. at the Fulmer Public Library Inner Circle. After suffering a significant financial loss from the fraud and forgery of former treasurer Alicia Bolton, the chapter expects to recover approximately $22,000 in insurance proceeds. In December, Bolton, 37, was sentenced to serve 51 months in prison for bank fraud and aggravated identity theft in relation to crimes involving the Little Big Horn Chapter of Trout Unlimited and Cedars Health Clinics. Ready to kick off 2016 with a fresh start, the board is looking for new members, expanding partnerships with existing Sheridan programs like the Sheridan WYO Healing Waters Project, fly tying clinics and more.
