March to 'come in like a lamb'

March to 'come in like a lamb'

(Sheridan, Wyo.) — By this point, it should surprise no one that the Climate Prediction Center with the National Weather Service in Billings is expecting March to come in like a lamb. Does this mean that March will head out like a lion? Some of us may not mind a few late-season snow storms, after the mild winter we've had. *h/t National Weather Service Billings* *h/t National Weather Service Billings* But according to Farmer's Almanac, the old saying, "In like a lion, out like a lamb," doesn't hold much weight. "With March being such a changeable month in which we can see warm spring-like temperatures or late-season snowstorms, you can understand how this saying might hold true in some instances," Farmer's Almanac says. "However, this saying seems be to more of a rhyme rather than a true weather predictor." #dally #news
