Dispatch: Burglary arrest; Citations issued during tobacco compliance checks

(Sheridan, Wyo.) — Here is the Thursday, March 3, recap of law enforcement activity in the Sheridan area. All persons arrested or cited are presumed innocent until convicted in a court of law. *Sheridan Police Department* *Arrests* Isaiah Proctor, Sheridan, 33, was arrested on two counts of burglary when police responded to the Country Club Estates for a male subject that was observed in somebody else’s apartment at 10:05 a.m. on Long Drive. Kayla Hilman, 25, Sheridan, was arrested on a Circuit Court warrant at 2:49 p.m. on Big Horn Avenue. Robert Cormelio, 20, Sheridan, was arrested on a outstanding warrant, following contact with officer who were conducting a tobacco compliance checks at 5:13 p.m. on N. Main Street. *Calls* Officers responded to a counterfeiting complaint at 12:04 a.m. on N. Main Street when a counterfeit ten dollar ($10.00) bill received at local business. Landlord complained of damage caused to a rental property by prior tenant at 9:27 a.m. on Yonkee Avenue. A vehicle ran a stop sign and was struck by a passing vehicle at 12:09 p.m. on Illinois Street. Driver was cited for running a stop sign. Officers took report of a phone call received advising of prize money being held until payment of taxes at 2:52 p.m. on N. Gould Street. This is an ongoing phone scam throughout the country. Juvenile cited for possessing a vapor pen in school at 3:31 p.m. on Long Drive. Kia changed travel lanes and collided with a Ford. Driver of the Kia was cited for improper lane change at 3:33 p.m. on Brundage Lane. Officers responded to a complaint of a dog chasing children at 3:56 p.m. on LaClede Street. Attempting to contact owner. Tobacco compliance checks done at 4:56 p.m. on N. Main Street. Male was cited for selling tobacco to a minor. Tobacco compliance check was done at 6:36 p.m. on Brundage Lane. One female was cited for selling tobacco to a minor. *Sh**eridan County Sheriff's Office* The SCSO responded to six incidents Thursday, including: Theft, 1:45 p.m., Dayton Street, Ranchester.
