Sheridan man arrested for burglary after fleeing scene Thursday

(Sheridan, Wyo.) — A Sheridan man was arrested after jumping out of a third floor window in an attempt to flee police Thursday. At 10:05 a.m., the Sheridan Police Department responded to a request for removal of a subject at the Country Club Estates on Long Drive. Subsequent events led to the arrest of Isaiah Proctor, 33, of Sheridan. Proctor fled the scene upon police arrival, Lt. Travis Koltiska of the Sheridan PD said. He had allegedly committed a burglary at the apartment complex, and jumped out of a third floor window to flee the police. Three to four hours later, a homeowner nearby said his child found an intruder in their home. The intruder turned out to be Proctor, who was taken into custody without incident. Proctor will likely face multiple burglary charges after allegedly taking items from the second residence Thursday as well. #dally #news
