Dispatch: Purse stolen from vehicle parked in driveway; Exhibition driving stop results in a fight discovery

(Sheridan, Wyo.) — Here is the March 7, recap of law enforcement activity in the Sheridan area. All persons arrested or cited are presumed innocent until convicted in a court of law. *Sheridan Police Department* *Arrests* Ryan L. Johnson, 43, Sheridan, was arrested for an outstanding warrant. *Calls* Officers responded to a request for a welfare check on a 18 year old female at 7:24 a.m. on Edwards Drive. The female was transported to Sheridan Memorial Hospital for a medical hold. A purse was stolen from a vehicle parked in a driveway at 9:50 a.m. on W. Fifth Street. Vehicle was unlocked by mistake. Police served Alfredo Coda, 53, Sheridan, with an active Municipal Court warrant at 11:50 p.m. on Brundage Street. Officers responded to a harassment report at 12:19 p.m. on N. Main Street. Officers responded to a report of a cold theft at 12:47 p.m. on Mydland Road. Traffic stop at 4:59 p.m. on N. Thurmond Street resulted in the driver being cited for a suspended license, and no ignition interlock device. A traffic stop for exhibition driving at 7:16 p.m. on Coffeen resulted in discovery that the driver was just involved in a fight at local restaurant. Under investigation. An older Ford parked on W Loucks St. was struck by a pearl or egg shell white passenger car or SUV and reported at 7:42 p.m. Damage to suspect vehicle will be to the passenger side headlight assembly and it will be missing the passenger side mirror. Case under investigation. Officers responded to a hit and run report at 9:26 p.m. on S. Gould Street, when report was made of one vehicle damaged at an unknown time during the night due to an unknown vehicle backing into it. *Sheridan County Sheriff's Office* Officers responded to one incident, a runaway report, at 7:45 p.m. on Lane Lane in Sheridan. #dally #news
