Dispatch: Dog kills two chickens on Greystone; Officers investigate odor of marijuana on Taylor

(Sheridan, Wyo.) — Here is the Tuesday, March 8, recap of law enforcement activity in the Sheridan area. All persons arrested or cited are presumed innocent until convicted in a court of law. *Sheridan Police Department *responded to 24 calls, including: *Arrests* James Blake, 28, Sheridan, was arrested on warrant at 3:45 p.m. on S. Brooks Street. *Calls* One male was cited for driving under suspension as the result of a traffic stop at 1:21 a.m. on E. Seventh Street. Nicholas Henzel, 29, Sheridan, was served with an active warrant to which he paid the bond at 9:19 a.m. on Grinnell Plaza. Complaint of a custody dispute at local school led an officer to the Woodland Park area at 1:06 p.m., where the situation was resolved. Officers responded to a report of a vicious dog at 2:26 p.m. on Greystone Avenue when complaint was made of a dog having killed two chickens at a home. A fight between juveniles resulted in two citations being issued for unlawful contact at 6:13 p.m. on W. 11th Street. Officers investigated the odor of marijuana after completing an non-related investigation at 6:36 p.m. on Taylor Avenue. Investigation resulted in one male being cited for possession of a controlled substance in plant form. A female complained of a male subject known to her outside her residence at 11:07 p.m. in the Sheridan area. Female did not want the male there. Officers contacted the male and advised him that as per the owner's request, he was not to return. *Sheridan County Sheriff's Office* The SCSO responded to two incidents, including a request for assistance on Knode Road in Sheridan at 1:10 a.m. #dally #news
