Sheridan County vote goes to Sen. Ted Cruz

(Sheridan, Wyo.) — The Sheridan County Republican Convention is happening now at the Historic Sheridan Inn. Sheridan County Republican Party Vice Chair Alan Weakly explained the process to Dally like this: "We are going to verify everyone here that is a delegate. We want to make sure we seat all the delegates. "Once we do that, we are going to move to some treasurers' report. I will make a report as the chairman, and then we are going to have an election of our single delegate to our National Convention that will represent Sheridan County. "When we get through that, we are going to go through our platforms and our resolutions. Our platforms represent what we as Republicans stand for, and the resolutions are—how do we achieve that. "Once we do that, then we vote on the delegates to the state convention. "If a person wants to run to be our national delegate, they will stand up and say who they support. We will vote for people based on their character, who they are and who they stand for," Weakly said.
