Dispatch: Hit and run downs telephone pole wires; possible medication theft

(Sheridan, Wyo.) — Here is the March 14 recap of law enforcement activity in the Sheridan area. All persons arrested or cited are presumed innocent until convicted in a court of law. The *Sheridan Police Department *responded to 29 incidents Monday, including: *Arrests* Kevin Ware, 20, Sheridan, was arrested on a Probation and Parole arrest order at 10:31 a.m. on Mydland Road. *Calls* Officers responded to a complaint of wires from a telephone pole lying across alleyway at 6:32 a.m. on Sugarland Drive. Determined the pole had been struck by a vehicle. Officers responded to an accident at 8:35 a.m. on W. Fifth Street when a Chevrolet backed into a Jeep at a private parking lot. A cat was quarantined for ten days after biting an individual on the arm at 10:25 a.m. on Absaraka Street. A male subject was arrested for domestic battery and interference with an emergency call following officers' investigation of a domestic in the Sheridan area at 12:17 p.m. Officers responded to a theft report at 5:11 p.m. on Sixth Street. Officers responded to a complaint made of an alleged suspect engaging in a pattern of behavior that was being perceived as harassment in the Sheridan area at 10:23 p.m. A citizen complained that his recently filled prescription medication had been stolen at 11:06 p.m. on Avoca Avenue. The *Sheridan County Sheriff's Office* responded to six incidents, including a theft report at 9:24 a.m. on Dana Avenue in Sheridan. #dally #news
