(Sheridan, Wyo.) — A local photographer has been honored with a national award for unmanipulated original photography. Dennis Jacobs of the Northern Wyoming Community College District has been honored by the National Council for Marketing & Public Relations. His photograph of a Sheridan College Ecology course in the field was awarded the gold medal for “Original Photography – Unmanipulated.” “We are absolutely thrilled and honored by this win,” said Wendy Smith, NWCCD’s Director of Marketing & Public Relations. “Dennis is a brilliant photographer with a keen eye for the perfect shot. This award simply affirms what we have known all along.” The National Council for Marketing & Public Relations is the only organization of its kind that exclusively represents marketing and public relations professionals at community and technical colleges.
