Dispatch: PD, Sheriff respond to multiple car accidents; 'shots' call that turned out to be fireworks

(Sheridan, Wyo.) — Here is the March 16 recap of law enforcement activity in the Sheridan area. All persons arrested or cited are presumed innocent until convicted in a court of law. The *Sheridan Police Department* responded to 26 incidents Wednesday, including: *Arrests* Charles Frymire, 48, Sheridan, was arrested on a warrant out of Johnson County at 12:15 p.m. on W. Fifth Street. *Calls* Officers received an anonymous call for loud noise at 1:25 a.m. on N. Main Street. Officers responded and the residence mentioned had noise complaints in the past. Home owner cited with disorderly conduct. A Toyota collided with an unattended parked Chevrolet at 7:36 a.m. on Monte Vista Street. Driver of Toyota sustained minor facial lacerations. Officers responded to complaint of mail boxes having been hit by a vehicle sometime during the night at 8:06 a.m. on Huntington Street. Officers responded to a complaint of a possible scam on the internet website CraigsList at 10:13 a.m. on Fort Road. A Toyota collided with an occupied parked Honda at 11:14 a.m. on Brooks Street. Driver of Toyota was cited for unsafe backing of motor vehicle. A Chevrolet side swiped a van as the driver tried to pass the van at 12:50 p.m. on Smith Street. Driver of the Chevrolet was cited for unsafe passing of a vehicle. The driver of a Ford, stopped at stop sign, backed the Ford into a Toyota stopped in traffic behind it at 4:07 p.m. on Coffeen Avenue. Driver of the Ford was cited for unsafe backing of motor vehicle. Officers responded to complaint of "shots" heard in residential area at 8:27 p.m. on Carlin Street. Officer arrived and observed subjects lighting fireworks. Subjects warned for lighting fireworks in city limits. The *Sheridan County Sheriff's Office* responded to five incidents, including an accident reported at 3:03 p.m. on East Seymour Street, when a semi truck hit a pole and resulted in a power outage . #dally #news
