(Sheridan, Wyo.) — Built in 1936 as Montgomery Ward, the building at 104 N. Main Street has been renovated into retail and living space. "Throughout the years, the spot on Main Street has been home to a wealth of historic establishments," according to themontgomery.org. The spot on Main was once the home of the Sheridan Post Office, followed by a stationary and drug store. In 1910, the site states, the location becane Sheridan National bank. The building on site today—which downtown Sheridan has recently watched undergo a dramatic transformation—was built in 1936. The building is open to public tours this weekend, continuing today from 10 a.m.-noon.
