(Wyoming) — Today is the official first day of spring, the Vernal Equinox
Astronomically speaking, the equinox, which falls on either March 19 or 20
of this year, marks spring’s beginning in the Northern Hemisphere,
according to Almanac.com.
The same day announces fall’s arrival in the Southern Hemisphere. The
equinox happens at the same moment worldwide, even if our clock times
reflect a different time zone.
