Wyoming Jaycees looking to grow into Buffalo

(Buffalo, Wyo.) — The Wyoming Jaycees is hoping to start a new chapter in Buffalo, and will host an informational meeting about the organization at the Chamber of Commerce at 55 N. Main at 6 p.m. tonight. "We currently have one Sheridan Jaycee who lives in Buffalo and she feels that the Buffalo community could really use an organization like this for its young people," Michelle Edwards, 2016 Wyoming Jaycees President said. The Jaycees is a membership association of 18-40 year olds dedicated to making positive change in communities across the state. The Jaycees help members to develop leadership skills, and Presidents Bill Clinton and Gerald Ford, as well as Senator Mike Enzi, were all Jaycees. Jaycees make a difference in their communities as well by volunteering. "We are always looking for new opportunities to create positive change in our Wyoming communities!" Edwards said.
