Dispatch: Reckless driver, theft from a vehicle, SCSO conducts warrant service

(Sheridan, Wyo.) — Here is the March 24 recap of law enforcement activity in the Sheridan area. All persons arrested or cited are presumed innocent until convicted in a court of law. The *Sheridan Police Department* responded to 34 incidents, including: *Arrests* Jarred Draper, 30, Sheridan, was arrested for DUI at 2:14 a.m. on N. Brooks Street. *Calls* Officers responded to a report of a reckless driver at 9:29 a.m. on Coffeen Avenue. The driver was contacted and cited for reckless driving and driver license required. Complaint of a truck and trailer sideswiping a parked vehicle was made at 12:40 p.m. on Brundage Street. Both vehicle owners were contacted. Officers responded to a complaint of a theft from a vehicle at 12:43 p.m. on Long Drive. One male was arrested for driving under suspension. Officers took complaint of an ex-boyfriend at residence removing items from a shed at 3:32 p.m. on Taylor Avenue. Officer responded to a complaint made at 4:24 p.m. on N. Main Street of an 18-month-old was wandering around without supervision. Parent was located and child returned. Report filed with Department of Family Services. Synopsis: Officers responded to a report at 11:12 p.m. on Dana Avenue of a female juvenile reported as being with a juvenile male against court order. Juvenile was later located and taken to Milestone Youth Home. This has been an ongoing issue with these two individuals resulting in multiple Law Enforcement contacts. The Sheridan County Sheriff's Office responded to six incidents, including: 12:47 a.m., warrant service, North Main Street, Sheridan. 11:29 a.m., warrant service, Coffeen Avenue, Sheridan. #dally #news
