million. And according to their data, Wyoming has 350 such individuals out
of 69,560 in country. That's a really low number compared to the rest of
the country, but due to our small population, that translates to 1 in every
1,669 Wyoming residents.
That puts us in second place, falling behind only the District of Columbia.
Wyoming is home to some world's wealthiest as well. Forrest Mars Jr. of the
Big Horn area and of Mars candy fame is valued at $28.6 billion and is
ranked 19th on Wealth-X's most wealthy individuals
the world. Jackson no doubt is home to many of these individuals, but one
notable resident Walmart heiress Christy Walton
When it comes to straight amount of ultra-wealthy individuals, California
wins with 13,445 followed by New York with 8,530 and Texas with 6,475.
