April 1 structure fire determined to be accidental; No injuries

At approximately 6:40 pm on 4/1/16 Sheridan Fire-Rescue, Goose Valley Fire Department, Sheridan Police Department, and Rocky Mountain Ambulance responded to 307 East Colorado for a possible structure fire. On arrival a fire was found in the attic of the home. The fire was brought under control in approximately 3 minutes and crews remained on scene for about 2 hours completing salvage and overhaul operations and initiating an origin and cause investigation.
