(Wyoming) — According to new data out from the Mercatus Center of George Mason University, Wyoming ranks third—among the most affected—of all 50 states in how much federal regulations affect each state’s economy. See Wyoming-specific data here
Federal regulation applies in the same way in all 50 states and the
District of Columbia, according to the federal regulation and state
enterprise (“FRASE”) index ranks.
The FRASE index ranks the 50 states and the District of Columbia according
to how federal regulations affect each state’s economy.
"Each state’s economy, however, includes a unique mix of industries, so
federal policies that target specific sectors of the economy will affect
states in different ways," REGDATA states .
