Sheriff investigating spate of weekend vandalism in Dayton/Rancehster

(Dayton, Wyo.) — The Sheridan County Sheriff's Office is investigating several incidents of property destruction in both Ranchester and Tongue River, according to Lt. Mark Conrad of the SCSO. "There have been some recent property destruction incidents in both Dayton and Ranchester. The Sheriff's Office is currently investigating each of the reported incidents," Conrad said in an email to Dally. According to the weekend dispatch report, the following incidents were reported on Sunday: a burglary reported at 5:53 a.m. on Halbert Street in Ranchester; a property destruction report at 10:25 a.m. on Railway Street in Ranchester; a property destruction report at 11:31 a.m. on South Fork Avenue in Big Horn View Park in Dayton; a report of damaged property at 4:41 p.m. on Black Mountain Drive in Dayton; and a report of burglary at 10:22 p.m. on Beckton Street in Dayton.
