(Sheridan, Wyo.) — Crews are on site on W. Loucks Street today, in what is the beginning of a major street reconstruction project that will span the summer. Construction on Loucks Street began today, with the demolition of the existing surfacing near Brooks Street, proceeding west to Thurmond Street. The Thurmond/Loucks intersection is open, but Loucks Street will be closed between Brooks and Thurmond until approximately May 19, according to the city. PHASE I construction started with the bore under Big Goose Creek on March 21 and is scheduled to be complete by April 15. This work will impact very little traffic, as the work is north of Loucks Street and is in the alleys between Badger and Swan streets. Read past coverage on Dally here
