He has made quick connections with the athletic staff and student athletes, and he will be a great addition to our team.” Tim, a Colorado native, is a graduate of Colorado Christian University, where he was named Men’s Soccer Freshman of the Year and twice won Impact Player of the Year. He received a Master’s degree in Recreation and Sport Sciences with a concentration in Soccer Coaching from Ohio University in December 2015. “Within the setting of a Junior College, it is important to focus the philosophy so that the athletes can receive the best experience within their two years,” Starr explained. “The philosophy that I have developed specifically for a 2-year institution focuses on development of the athlete in four main areas: Academic, Athletic, Personal, and Community.” For more information on Timmothy Starr, new Men’s Head Soccer Coach for Sheridan College, or the Sheridan College Athletic Program in general, contact Jenni Winter, Athletic Director, at (307) 686-0254 ext. 1443 or
