Rain! And snow! 6-12 inches of snow anticipated in the Bighorns today

(Sheridan, Wyo.) — The weekend brought some much-welcome rain and snow to the Bighorns, and now the Northeast Bighorn Mountains and Sheridan foothills are under a Hazardous Weather Outlook until Tuesday. The National Weather Service of Billings is predicting "possibly heavy" snowfall at times in the Northeast facing slopes of the Bighorns. In town, snow/rain showers that hit before 9 a.m. are likely to taper off into rain after noon. A total daytime snow accumulation of less than one inch is possible.
