Sheridan County Historical Society & Museum to open for the season this weekend

(Sheridan, Wyo.) — On Sunday, the Sheridan County Historical Society & Museum will open for the summer with new exhibits on the Bozeman Trail and Dude Ranching. Through the month of May, the Museum will be open from 1-5 p.m. daily throughout the week. Admission prices for the Museum are $4 for adults, $3 for seniors (60+), $2 students , free for children (12 and under), free for veterans, and free for active/reserve military personnel. May is a busy month, and on May 11, the Museum, in partnership with the Sheridan Senior Center, will host Casual Conversations in History. On Sunday, May 22, Eaton’s Ranch will be holding their annual horse drive through Sheridan. Starting at Wyarno, they will arrive in Sheridan about 9 a.m. The parking lot and deck at the Museum is a great place to watch, and the public is welcome to join in watching from the deck. On Saturday, May 28 and Sunday, May 29 the Museum will host its Summer Kick Off Open House. The Museum will open its doors to the public from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. both days.
