City Council to hear CAST, Third Thursday updates tonight

(Sheridan, Wyo.) — The Sheridan City Council will hear updates on the Critical Air Service Team (CAST) from Bruce Garber, president of the CAST board of directors, and an update on the summer Third Thursday street festivals from Downtown Sheridan Association director Beth Holsinger. In a letter to the council, Garber says that passenger numbers on Denver Air Connection are going up. In January and February, there were around 10-11 passengers per flight. Since then, both daily passenger numbers are up, as well as numbers on seats per day. "We anticipate an increase in both load factors and sales during May and the summer season," the letter reads. The council will also vote on a number of various use permits/off premise alcohol permits, many pertaining to Third Thursday events, and the Kendrick Creek Minor Subdivision replat request, located on the northwest corner of Main and Brundage St. See the city's full council agenda here . *Feature photo h/t Downtown Sheridan Association / Pitchengine Communities* #dally #news
