NOAA recorded wetter than normal April, predicting hotter than normal May

(Sheridan, Wyo.) — Sheridan's average April temperature was almost three degrees higher than normal, but Sheridan also received 1.75 inches more precipitation than in average. In it's April Regional Weather Summary, the National Weather Service also reports that Burgess Junction got a total of 22 inches of snow from April 18-19. With temperatures predicted in the 80s this week, spring runoff could hit this week.
