Sheridan High School Art Symposium work on display at Sheridan Fulmer Library

See more photos from the show on Dally here . / Pitchengine Commmunities* (Sheridan, Wyo.) — The 48th Annual Wyoming Art Symposium concluded at the Casper Events Center in late April showcased 4,518 pieces of artwork from around the state. The students of Sheridan High School submitted 79 pieces of artwork to represent their school, and 67 other schools in Wyoming participated this year. The SHS student artwork included ceramics, collages, drawings, graphics, paintings and photographs that were created this year. SHS students took home 49 blue ribbons for Best of Show and three First Lady of Wyoming Art Awards. The three pieces of artwork were chosen by the First Lady of Wyoming herself, Carol Mead, and will go on to Cheyenne to be displayed in the Governor’s Mansion for an entire year. The SHS student artwork will be on display on the Fulmer Public Library Mezzanine from May 2-24.
