Possible rain, more smoke in the air today

(Sheridan, Wyo.) — The National Weather Service of Billings issued a Hazardous Weather Outlook at 5 a.m. today that includes the northeast Bighorn Mountains and Sheridan foothills. Areas of smoke from the Fort McMurray fire in Alberta will persist, but smoke concentrations are expected to be less than Friday morning. Smoke may continue early next week. There is a 60 percent chance of rain showers likely, mainly before noon, and a storm system will move into the area by Monday, with a possible inch of rainfall.
