No charges against County Attorney in December incident

(Sheridan, Wyo.) — The Albany County Attorney has determined there was not sufficient evidence to move forward with charges against Sheridan County Attorney Matt Redle in a Dec. 11 incident, according to the Sheridan Police Department. Albany County Attorney Peggy Trent took the incident under review in March, when outside counsel was sought because of the conflict of interest the incident created. According to the Sheridan Police Department, on Dec. 11, Redle allegedly attempted to kick the coffee cup out of a woman's hand and threw a paper cup at her. The woman has been identified as Sheridan Advocacy and Resource Center Executive Director Bonnie Young.
