Man killed on Sunday had harness but no ropes

(Sheridan, Wyo.) — Dean Darlington, 58, was killed in a climbing accident in Tongue River Canyon on Sunday. According to Sheridan County Deputy Coroner Kevin Sessions, Darlington had fallen 70-80 feet. He had a harness on but did not have any ropes tied to it at the time of the fall, Sessions said. Blunt force trauma was the official cause of death. The death investigation was carried out by the Sheridan County Sheriff's Office when a call was received at 4:35 p.m. Sunday. #dally #news
