New forest fire in the Bighorns causes closures

A new forest fire is burning in the Bighorns, directly east of Shell, near Shell Reservoir. The Arden Fire was first detected yesterday, July 19. As of this morning, the fire was estimated to be about 120 acres in size and burning in heavy timber. Hot, dry and windy conditions are a concern for firefighters. The cause of the fire has not yet been determined. There are some Bighorn National Forest closures around the Shell Reservoir area. According to the forest, "this closure is to provide public health and safety and ensure safe and effective firefighting capability." Below is a map of the closure area.
