DeMarcus Henry is an experienced Data Center Manager & Enterprise Architect based in Washington, DC. He has received his Associates of Applied Science Degree in Information Systems Technology, Summa Cum Laude, Community College of the Air Force in 2007. Next, he obtained his Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Information Systems, Cum Laude, Bellevue University in 2008. Later in the year 2010, he completed his Masters of Business Administration (MBA) in Information Systems Management Cum Laude, Strayer University with (GPA 3.8). Some of his technical certifications includes: - Network+ certification, IA DIACAP Boot Camp, Cisco certified Network Associates (CCNA), Advanced Cisco Campus Switching, Security+ Certification, Cisco Internetworking Troubleshooting and more.
DeMarcus Henry is A+ Certified, highly skilled in Computer Network Configuration and Repair; & Fiber Optic Theory, Installation, and repair. As a Data Center Manager and Enterprise Architect, he performs various operations. He directs, coordinates, & approves the detailed planning design, programming, development, testing, documentation, training, & implementation of IT systems through the use of outside vendors and contractors. In addition to this, he is responsible for monitoring contractor work scope, funding requests, performance schedules, milestones and/or project deliverables. He directs the development & drafting of Statements of Work (SOW) which evolve & maintain architecture & information systems. He directs & provides contract management to assign IT and data management systems.
DeMarcus Henry assists in coordinating the efforts of the Technology Management Division’s staff & contracts in the development, enhancement, and the maintenance of automated & annual IT and data management systems. He is a good problem solver who applies skills, procedure and adequate internal controls for successful performance of the IT contracts.
DeMarcus Henry also likes to spend quality time with his family. Besides that, he enjoys vacationing, watching movies, road trips, and serving the LORD. He supports many charitable causes as a way to do his bit towards community welfare. He is the member of the Church of Christ and a volunteer Children’s Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) basketball coach.
