Action Sports Retailer, evo, Opens Flagship Store in Denver
DENVER (Nov. 28, 2016) – Action sports, outdoor and lifestyle retailer evo is proud to announce the opening of its new flagship store at 860 Broadway in Denver. The Seattle-based company partnered with local Denver bike and ski shop, Edgeworks and Bicycle Doctor, in May 2016 to combine evo’s e-commerce and retail innovation capabilities with the legendary local service, expertise and more than two decades of experience provided by Edgeworks and Bicycle Doctor.
In cooperation with local developers, evo has renovated and expanded the Broadway location, exposing the original beauty of the iconic building. The updated retail space features a full-service ski, snowboard and bike shop, alongside a retail floor with evo’s signature curated mix of hard goods, technical apparel, street wear, footwear and accessories. evo’s third flagship location, the Denver store is fully open for business now, just in time for the holiday shopping season.
Staying true to its commitment to art, culture, community and charity, evo has integrated a dedicated art gallery into the nearly 10,000-square-foot retail space and will host a series of grand opening events starting on Monday, Dec. 5, benefitting Denver’s SOS Outreach, a non-profit organization for at-risk youth.
“We are excited to engage with such a thriving community in Denver. The evo DNA is all about creating a place where people who share passions for the outdoors come together, and Denver is the perfect location to bring that to life,” Bryce Phillips, evo founder and CEO, said. “At evo, we love weaving art, music, film, service, philanthropy, sports and gear together, and that is fully represented in our beautiful new space in Denver.”
